My work is derived from many sources inspired by my daily routine. I randomly collect objects and images that inspire me and I wait for an appropriate moment to use them in.
I believe in deconstruction and sometimes consider myself more of an editor than a creator by establishing compositions that have no aesthetic value and at times can make me ill. I then pull away, paint over, or move objects around until I feel that the work is complete and I can stop. I strive to create elegant work that challenges the standards of a tolerable composition and allows the viewer to make up their own narrative.
